Daniel Sumegi is delighted to make several house debuts in the 2018/19 season.

In January 2019, he will make his first appearances at the Isreali Opera in a favorite role: John the Baptist in the amazing Salome, by Richard Strauss. Invited by his friend, and incoming Music Director, Dan Ettinger, Sumegi was thrilled accept and to make his first ever journey to Isreal. Following this he will make his role and house debut as Wagner’s Flying Dutchman for Malmö Opera, in Sweden. Between these performances he will once again appear with Dan Ettinger, at his Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, to sing Hunding in Act 1 of Wagner’s Die Walküre.

Daniel Sumegi’s upcoming appearances

Daniel Sumegi appears in Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Verdi’s immortal Aida. This new production, in association with San Francisco Opera, is directed by famed director, and Washington National Opera Artistic Director, Francesca Zambello. Performace dates are May 5,6,9,11,12,13,16, and 19, 2018.
